Our Walk MS Fundraiser of the Week is Melissa Reiman!

Melissa and her team “MS Fight Club” will make their debut at this year’s Walk MS NYC at our Rockland site. As team captain, Melissa has “accepted the challenge” to become a Top Fundraiser by aiming to raise $1,000 or more. We are happy to report she is almost there having already raised more than $880!

Melissa, diagnosed with multiple sclerosis this past October, shares why initially she was hesitant to participate but thankfully changed her mind.  The following is an excerpt from her personal fundraising page:

“My journey thus far has been difficult and I still have not come to terms with my diagnosis. So when I was asked to do this walk, I immediately turned it down because I was just not ready. However, I thought about all the wonderful people who I have met or talked to that are wheelchair bound and would like to do this walk, but physically can't. I am doing this for them and my team is called MS Fight Club.”
